Renowned in the Culinary world and adored in his hometown, Cleveland, Ohio, Michael Symon chef/owner of critically acclaimed restaurants Lola and Lolita, chef/partner of Roast, in Detroit, Michigan and with a new addition of B Spot Burgers in Cleveland, Ohio, Michael has earned attention through the years for his thoughtful Mid-Western cooking style.

Michael has been named National Rising Star by Restaurant Hospitality Magazine, awarded Top Ten Best New Chef’s by Food and Wine Magazine and America’s Best Restaurants in Gourmet Magazine.
Michael was featured in Michael Ruhlman’s book, The Soul of a Chef, became one of five Iron Chefs on The Food Network’s Iron Chef America and hosted Season 5 of Dinner Impossible.

With his most recent achievement, being awarded The James Beard Foundation’s Award for Best Chef
